As a software vendor, we know that we can strongly enhance the value of your service offering by working closely with selected technology and consulting partners. We endeavor to support these businesses to become more profitable through selling, implementing and/or supporting the IKAN software products.
The IKAN VAR Network already comprises many experienced partners, each selected on the strengths of its expertise in information management technology and/or complementary services. We are continuously expanding this network with companies focusing strongly on multi-platform information management, database design and management, data warehousing or business intelligence, and keen to add IKAN products to their portfolio.
The IKAN VAR Program was set up as a framework within which IKAN and its partners can do business together effectively and profitably. As its own contribution to the network, IKAN brings an investment in terms of dedicated staff, education and marketing, value added services such as pre-sales consulting, integration services as well as technical support for its partners.
2. Partnership Levels
The IKAN VAR Program was set up to support five types of business partnerships:

Lead Generator: partners providing qualified sales leads to IKAN.

Strategic Referral Partners (Introduction Partners): partners providing leading IT solutions, and understanding the added value gained by jointly leveraging both their own and IKAN?s strengths and experiences.

Technical Partner: partners expanding the business value of IKAN products through the development of innovative add-ons.

Distributor, Level one: partners selling and supporting IT solutions to their customers, and including IKAN products as integrated components in their offerings. Resellers are granted the rights to market, distribute and resell licenses of IKAN products to end use customers.

Distributor, Level two: Reseller on a larger scale, with bigger commitments and better advantages.
3. Partnership Criteria
You can apply for membership of the IKAN VAR Network when:
- you have an important established business in the database, data warehousing, business intelligence domain (and customers using products and services in that domain)
- as resellers or distributor, you have professional, outbound, trained sales, business development or consulting services organization
- as a technology partner, you have the infrastructure and technical expertise to provide front-line, pre-sales support for IKAN software products, preferably with the resources and infrastructure for product training and demonstrations
- you have the ability and infrastructure to resell IKAN products, maintenance agreements, and technical expertise to provide installation and after-sales support services for IKAN products
- you can provide programs for lead generation and awareness
- you can offer value added services such as pre-sales consulting, installation and integration services
4. Benefits of the IKAN VAR Network

When becoming a partner you will receive a starter kit, i.e. a package with presentations for technical people, presentations for management. All past and future press material will also be made available.

Commercial training, full access to IKAN's sales organization via an assigned contact, who will respond to questions, provide sales strategies, product information or address any concern or problem.

Assistance with the creation of commercial proposals.

Incoming inquiries and leads from around the world are directly sent to those partners that are geographically and "functionally" closest to the customer.

The right to use our logo on your web site and marketing material.

Strong visibility through representation and appropriate links on the IKAN web site.

Access to marketing material in the restricted partner area on our web site

Joint marketing activities.

On-going communication on product innovations, latest pricing and special offers.

Discounts on product licenses for internal use by the VARs

Technical training, technical product support including technical information on product bugs, patches and upgrades.

Our professional technical support team has the skills and experience to answer the questions your customers or yourself may have. If necessary, they are available for support on-site.

Access to the technical area of the private IKAN VAR website.

On-request assistance from IKAN for consultancy for direct client assignments at a fee to be agreed.
